My very special guest today is a former Sergeant with the Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment who led his men into close quarters combat with Iraqi insurgents back in 2004. It was the first time since the Falklands War that British soldiers had fixed bayonets before going into combat - in what became known as the "Battle of Danny Boy” You may have heard about this in the news earlier this year – as if the trauma of the battle itself wasn’t enough, a so-called human rights lawyer named Phil Shiner took it upon himself to falsify claims about the details of this battle and bring bogus suits against members of an incredibly brave company Thankfully this charlatan was finally exposed, but sadly the damage had already been done.
