"I hope we beat 10 views" Aiden, 2020 Hello everyone! So It's technically the first episode of our new podcast, Press Start to Start. But it's also in a way, not. I don't know what you want from me. Let's start again. Hello, this is Dan. The one on the right in the video. Hi. Welcome to episode zero of our new podcast! We were very lucky to be able to film it at Folly Brewing ( - 928 College Street, Toronto). I'm pretty much there every other Thursday singing 90s grunge and punk hits at karaoke, so come say hello. Also go drink their beer - available now in the LCBO! Anyway, what is this podcast about? It's a more relaxed, less-gaming-focused show that is an excuse for us to bullshit around together. Aiden's given me the reins on this one, so where I drive the horse-cart, I don't know! Get in the buggy, nerd, we're going podcasting. We love gaming culture. It's not what it used to be - or what people thought it used to be - that being poxy nerds in tiny hovels mashing away at Cheeto-stained keyboards while they play another round against bots on Facing Worlds in UT2k. Or whatever. Nowadays, everyone is welcome, everyone can play. I want to reflect that inclusion in a podcast that's free-form, welcoming, and curious. I want to have brewers, people in the gaming industry, comics, musicians, people with interesting stories...I want to have a conversation with everyone and learn - tangentially - maybe what gaming means to them.
