Drea Garcia - Female Veteran Taking on the Entertainment Industry

Drea Garcia is a Marine Corps Veteran that now works in the entertainment industry and volunteers in her spare time. She completed active duty in the USMC after two deployments and she returned home to San Francisco to finish her theater degree. Garcia moved to Los Angeles to continue studying, but this time behind the camera. She gained membership in the Television Academy as a Performer shortly after received her MFA in Producing from the American Film Institute. She has landed roles in features as well as several major national commercials to include the JEEP Halftime SUPER BOWL commercial campaign with Oprah Winfrey and PEPSIs NFL Kickoff campaign. Garcia can be found on GREY’S ANATOMY, CRIMINAL MINDS, ANGIE TRIBECA and most recently SHAMELESS. Garcia rescues senior special needs dogs and volunteers with orphaned animals in South Africa.
