In Masafer Yatta, in the south of the region, settlements grew in size, new outposts took shape, settlers began to wear military uniforms and more powerful weapons, attacks, kidnappings and arrests became daily and torture in prisons became a nightmare. For Sami Huraini, a resident of the village of Twani and a member of the Popular Struggle Coordination Committee and Youth of Sumud, this is everyday life. In this interview, he talks about the popular resistance of the Masafer Yatta communities against the Zionist regime, and their common decision: not to abandon the land.
