Maia Duerr (maiaduerr.com) is a cultural anthropologist, writer and longtime meditation practitioner. Maia is a business consultant and a Buddhist, who practices in the Soto Zen lineage of Suzuki Roshi. Troy first encountered her through her work with the Tree of Contemplative Practices (see image attached or contemplativemind.org/practices/tree), which is discussed in the interview. She lives at the intersection of entrepreneurship and awareness. Check out her newest book, Work That Matters at any major book retailer. Troy Bronsink is the founder and director of The Hive - A Center for Contemplation, Art & Action. The Hive is a nonprofit located in the Northside neighborhood of Cincinnati.
