Dr Bryan Heiderscheit is the Frederick Gaenslen Professor in Orthopedics and Vice-Chair of Research for the Department of Orthopedics & Rehabilitation. He is the founding Director of the UW Health Runners’ Clinic; Director of Badger Athletic Performance with UW Athletics; and Co-director of the UW Neuromuscular Biomechanics Laboratory. His research is aimed at understanding and enhancing the clinical management of musculoskeletal conditions, with particular focus on sports-related injuries. Matt Brown is the Director of Business Development at Springbok Analytics. He has been involved with severalearly-stage startups in the sports and health tech space where he has developed and executed go-to-market and growth strategies. Springbok Analytics specializes in providing advanced, AI-driven muscle analysis. It offers a platform that delivers precise, 3D muscle volume measurements using MRI images. The technology is revolutionising the areas of injury prevention, performance optimization, recovery monitoring and rehabilitation strategies across elite sports, and is now being used by many of the top professional football clubs.
