Space City Con 2014

Fire n Dice has the privilege of running two games at the upcoming Space City Con , January 4th and 5th, 2014, at the Moody Gardens Hotel in Galveston, TX. Because this is FnD's premier opportunity at SC con, and because it is just a month before our regular gaming at Owlcon, we will be running games that promise to be fun without needing incredible prep time. So we have decided to run "Ghost in the Shell" using 3:16 . In it, players will take on the roles of an infiltration unit belonging to Section 9 and go on an important mission to eliminate a powerful horde. What will the enemy be? It could be anything from A.I. uprising to a terrorist organization to rogue rebel operatives within the Security Forces. You'll just have to wait to find out. Second on the list to run will be Shingeki no Kyojin, or Attack on Titan, Cinema, using Zombie Cinema rules. This is a storytelling game where no one will know what might happen until they play. Players take turns telling the story about their character's interaction with the other characters and setting. It'll be lots of fun, so sign up and see you there! Update (Jan 5, 2014): Space City Con was an amazing amount of fun. Special thanks to the volunteer crew and Moody Gardens of Galveston. Extra special thanks to the gaming help desk who showed considerable care for all the GM's in the rooms and facilitated gamers in finding the appropriate tables and filling out sign in sheets. You rock! I also got a few cosplay pics. While Jason Momoa, Kristian Nairn, and many other celebrities were there, I got to see them but did not get pics (possible legal reasons) to share online, but I did get these cosplayers permissions.
