Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) is Stage IV breast cancer that is incurable but often treatable. An estimated 1 in 3 women with early stage breast cancer will develop MBC; 6% of patients have MBC at first diagnosis (“de novo”). Medical advancements have helped women with MBC live longer.
