This is Episode 1 of F.M. Cast and part 1 of the diabetes module. Goals: 1. Overview of Diabetes will follow the "WECOM" structure What is it? Economic costs? Complications Management If you're like me, you want to provide the most accurate information to your patients, attendings, and team. FMCast is for just that, it provides short lessons that pay specific attention to the correct details of the " bread and butter " of Family Medicine. Additionally, FMCast is geared towards medical students studying for your USMLE step exams, residents for your licensing exams and physicians staying at the top of their game. Since this is an audio program, we are going to focus on short simple lessons that can be listened to again and again for re-enforcement. F.M. Cast also challenges you to think critically about what we've discussed at the end of each FMCast.
