It's when we're in dry places that we all of a sudden feel the urge to hustle. Brokivation is a term I coined to call myself on my own foolishness. There's a power to being broke and it calls a lot more out of us than depleted accounts. Brokivation: the feeling of motivation that occurs after a loss or the realization of low funds. Thus, a desperation is activated that gives us the green light to "get stuff done". In the perfect world, shouldn't depend on situations of survival to act on what they know they should do. It shouldn't be the loss of a job that makes us start our business. It shouldn't be the sudden overdraft in our account that makes us bolder in our hustle. In this episode, Patrice and her guest co-host Tweety talk about their journey in being "brokivated" and how to break cycles of "brokivation". They discuss thriving in the valley as well as the mountain and maintaining a mindset of success.
