Questions About This Episode

What is From “In the Beginning” to Amen // Faith to Start Walking & the Faith to Keep Walking // January 11, 2026 about?

From “In the Beginning” to Amen // Faith to Start Walking & the Faith to Keep Walking Genesis 12:1-3,7 (NIV) The Lord had said to Abram, ‘Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.’ The Lord appeared to Abram and said, ‘To your offspring I will give this land.’ So he built an altar there to the Lord, who had appeared to him.” Fear and doubt are very real enemies. Time can become a very real enemy. Romans 4:16-25 (NIV) “Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham's offspring---not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. As it is written: ‘I have made you a father of many nations.’ He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed---the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were… Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, ‘So shall your offspring be.’ Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead---since he was about a hundred years old---and that Sarah's womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. This is why ‘it was credited to him as righteousness.' The words ‘it was credited to him’ were written not for him alone, but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness---for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.” God Who Calls and Leads God Who Provides God Who is All Sufficient God Who is Our Refuge and Strength God Who is a Good Father God Who Knows No Shadow of Turning God Who Knows Us by Name and Calls Us by Name God Who is Always Faithful God Who is the Same Yesterday, Today and Forever God Almighty Philippians 1:6 (NIV) “…being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
