A Susana tem editado e publicado vários livros, tais como o recente Lágrimas de Crocodilo - Fotografia e Crítica em Portugal 1980-2000 e o ambicioso Livros de Fotografia em Portugal — da Revolução ao Presente . A Susana é também curadora. Das várias exposições que organizou destaco Quem te ensinou? — ninguém uma exposição sobre o trabalho artístico e experimental de Elvira Leite com a comunidade do Bairro da Sé que resultou no livro Pedagogy of the Streets Porto 1977. Episode 17 with Susana Lourenço Marques presents a dialogue between two researchers about the motivation to find hidden stories, the discoveries and setbacks along the way and the intention to build history that embraces incoherence and does not seek brilliance, while Susana reveals the ongoing research project with Lucinda Canelas on Portuguese women photographers of the 19th century. Susana is a Photography and History of Photography professor at FBAUP since 2004, the co-founder of the publishing house Pierrot le Fou since 2014 and has a PhD on the subject of the history of photographic images in Portugal. Susana has edited and published several books, such as the recent Lágrimas de Crocodilo - Fotografia e Crítica em Portugal 1980-2000 and the ambitious Livros de Fotografia em Portugal — from the Revolution to the Present . Susana is also a curator. Of the various exhibitions she organized, I highlight Quem te ensinou? — ninguém an exhibition about Elvira Leite's artistic and experimental work with the Bairro da Sé community that resulted in the book Pedagogy of the Streets Porto 1977.
