How to get a new deck attuned to you

I know we have talked about this before, but most of you missed it, and I wanted to address this from a new angle: what to actually do when a new deck shows up in your life. Gift, impulse buy, online order, it fell out of the sky . . . it doesn't matter how it got to you. Every new deck comes out of the box stiff, slippery, and completely indifferent to you. Too many decks today also have sharp edges that cut into your fingers after an entire day of shuffling and giving readings. New decks have zero connection to your energy. Your job is to fix that.
