Climate Financing in International Development

Climate change is one of the most pressing issues facing the world. In order to tackle this, the world, and Canada, is increasing its financial commitments to climate mitigation and adaptation. In this episode, Nicolas Moyer, president and CEO of CCIC, talks with Brian Tomlinson , the executive director of AidWatch Canada and author of the 2019 Climate Finance Report developed for the Canadian Coalition on Climate Change and Development (C4D). Since 2017, Brian Tomlinson has reported on the status of Canada’s climate financing initiatives. We wanted to learn more about what the issues are, what Canada is doing to address them and what more needs to be done.
