The LGBTIQ Women’s Health Conference is proudly co-presented by the VAC and ACON . The inaugural conference – then called the LBQ Women’s Health Conference – took place in Melbourne in 2015, presented by VAC before partnering with ACON in 2016, and has since expanded to a two-day conference. The next LGBTIQ Women’s Health Conference will be held in The Jasper Hotel, Melbourne, Australia on 12 & 13 July 2018. Keynote and Panel Speakers Include: Jerril Rechter, CEO VicHealth Lyn Morgain, CEO cohealth Sally Rugg, Ex-Campaign Director, GetUp! Feyi Akindoyeni, Partner, Strategic Communications expert, Gateway Australia Roj Amedi, Human Rights Campaigner, GetUp! Naomi Fontanos, TGD activist. Alison Thorne, Freedom Socialist Organiser, Radical Women in Australia Founding Member. The conference focuses on the health and well-being needs of all LGBTIQ women within Australian communities. The event offers attendees a wide range of opportunities to discuss, engage with and explore these health needs as well as profile new and emerging research, innovative programs and services being delivered to address these needs in our communities.
