Today's Scripture Reading is from Luke 9:23-25. God wants to use each and every one of us to make a difference in people’s lives and to advance His Kingdom in the world. In order to do that, we must be willing to deny ourselves the things that we want to do and the pleasures that we want to have, and take up the cross of sacrifice and giving, just like Jesus did when He died and the cross for us. He could have taken the easy route and bypassed pain and suffering altogether.
