Welcome to the first ever episode of the No Pressure Podcast hosted by Curtain Call's Matt Humphrey. Matt is kicking off the series with a duo whose work, ideas and initiative I have much admired since they made a splash on the scene a couple of years ago. The first 'Platform Presents' Gala - organised by actress Gala Gordon - featured a star-studded line-up of actors that any red carpet / award ceremony would have been proud to host. Isabella Macpherson and Gala Gordon are driven, optimistic, passionate and selfless creatives - just the type of creators I love to talk to. They don't like to restrict themselves to one media - if the project fits, they have the ambition to make it happen. They are kicking off 2020 with the 3rd Poetry Gala at the Savoy Theatre directed by Gemma Arterton, featuring an A-list line-up, and raising funds for their Playwright Prize which will support the work of an emerging writer
