Today on Cracked I'm joined by LA artist David Scheid. David is a stained glass artist whose work is inspired by the light and landscapes of California. He spends most of my time on the road as a tour manager for bands including Girl Talk, Beirut, and Dinosaur Jr. and when at home he builds colorful, geometric stained glass pieces and custom windows. His work has been installed in houses, gardens and shops throughout the West Coast and greater United States. Today we’re going to discuss the eternal question of what it is we’re meant to be doing professionally, an honest look at what working during the pandemic looked like and finding extraordinary inspiration and imagery in the everyday moments around us.
