Intro (for guest episodes): I started coaching because I wanted to support others to achieve what they really want, but they weren't sure how to do it! Around 6 years ago a coach at work really helped me gain clarity about my future when I was uncertain about how it would look. The uncertainty occurred when I was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage four endometriosis, it was a huge shock that affected my career and personal life. So, why mindbodyrevival_coach, I'm often asked? I integrate the mind-body connection in my work. The way the body responds to how we think, feel, and act can impact our entire well-being. During my practice, I can also use journaling and breath work to support my clients move through their thoughts when they're feeling stuck. I work from an intersectional perspective because, like my own situation, I understand the nuances of each individual's circumstances. So, in the world of childless not by choice, those of us who wanted but could not have children are on a similar journey caused typically by different illnesses. For me it was fibroids and time. On your website you say for you it was Endometriosis and Adenomyosis? Can you tell us your story, as much as you would like to share? You are transitioning or should I say evolving from CNBC to life after infertility…tell us more. I love the cheat sheet questions to ask your doctor at doctor visits. I always say we should have a list of questions and never fear getting a second opinion. In our pre-chat you explained a little about Eid. I suppose Eid al Fitr. I also see there is an Eid al-Adha, commemorating the willingness of the Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son. That story I know, but tell us more about Eid al Fitr.
