** I can't believe we're already here, but this episode, episode ten is the finale of Season One of the CGI Podcast. The podcast will resume with new episodes for season two, the exact date of the season two premiere will be announced as we get closer. Probably some time in September, after everyone's done traveling for the summer and schedules return to normal. Mathew Borrett is an Toronto-based Illustrator and VFX Environment Artist who's known for his incredibly detailed, ultra-high-res images of cityscapes in various states of decay. Matthew uses MODO to help him create these intricate images that have a surreal, illustrative feel. However, their detailed complexity offers layers of interest when viewed at different distances. Mathew has worked as a matte painter and 3D modeler for both the film and TV industry and contributed to titles such as Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Resident Evil Afterlife, The Three Musketeers and others.
