Season 01 Episode 02 - Wicked Problems

In this episode, team members from ASU’s Center for Advancing Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research (Michael Moramarco, Karen J. Saewert, and Jinnette Senecal) and special guest Barbara Maxwell (A.T. Still University - Mesa, AZ) explore the concept and characteristics of wicked problems in relation to health care systems. We discuss the multifaceted ways that interprofessional practice and education may provide a unique lens and set of strategies for approaching the wicked problem of achieving the quadruple aim. The conversation is anchored by select excerpts of conversations the CAIPER team held at the 2018 National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education’s Nexus Summit (MN).
