The Piketon Massacre - 10 years later, Part 2. Joseph Scott Morgan and Dave Mack discuss what has been called the "Pike County Murders" "The Piketon Massacre" and other names - It was the murders of 8 people at 4 crime scenes in one night. The Wagner family of killers arrested just over two years after the massacre. Jake Wagner pleaded guilty to aggravated murder, conspiracy, aggravated burglary, tampering with evidence and other charges. As part of the plea Jake had to testify against his brother and father. In exchange for this, Jake would be sentenced to life without parole. But that did not happen. Jake Wagner was sentenced to life with possibility of parole after 32 years. The mother, Angela Wagner, took a plea deal and was sentenced to 30 years in prison. George Wagner IV was found guilty at trial and sentenced to eight consecutive life sentences and another121 years for other offenses. 10 years after the murders of the Rhoden family, 8 years after being arrested and charged, Billy Wagner, the Patriarch of the Wagner family still hasn't been tried.
