Mattias Skjelmose

Mattias Skjelmose has taken big strides forward every year as a professional. His first season at Trek saw him snatching the young rider's jersey at the Tour of Norway, in 2022 he won GC at the Tour of Luxembourg. In 2023, he won the Tour de Suisse, the Danish national road race title and the Maryland Cycling Classic. At 23 years old, he sits in the top 15 in the UCI's World Rankings with his future very much in his own destiny. As you'll hear, he's a focussed, determined and thoughtful young rider with a maturity that belies his young years.
