Tonight I'm going to be employing some techniques that originate in Buddhist practice: mindfulness, also known as awareness, and grounding. I'm going to slowly and gently walk you thru noticing parts of your body in order to alleviate anxiety, dissociation, and/or distressful ruminating. This kind of awareness practice can get intense for some people, so please feel free to stop listening or skip ahead at any time.
