Elspeth is also the Chair-elect of the ALA's Library Management and Leadership Association's New Professionals Section. In the Spotlight segment, I share a recent unpleasant encounter I had with our trash dumpster and a mud puddle, and consider the lessons I learned about handling a rough day as a library leader.
