The weekend is finally here and we've got some possible severe weather approaching later this afternoon. More rain & thunderstorms in the area sometime around 4pm. Then the temperature drops into the 40's for Saturday & Sunday before bouncing back on Monday. Definitely going to spend a bunch of time working in the back yard after the show today to try & get that all cleaned up & ready for summer. In the news this morning, the Governor declares a state of emergency for the communities in Wisconsin that got hit the hardest by the storms earlier this week, a man in Pewaukee dies in a Kwik Trip parking lot after getting struck by lightning , a class action lawsuit involving Trader Joe's, and an ICE agent is charged with assault in MN. In sports, the Brewers beat the Blue Jays again yesterday to take two out of three from Toronto, the NBA Play-In Tournament wraps up tonight with a couple of games and the actual playoffs begin tomorrow. The NHL Playoffs also begin tomorrow! Took a look at the matches scheduled for WrestleMania 42 , and maybe Ovi IS coming back for one more season on the ice? Talked about what's on TV this weekend and what's new in theaters . Plus, the trailer for the new " Street Fighter " movie just dropped, and sadly..." Spaceballs 2 " isn't going to be called "The search for more money." Funny story about cops getting called to do a welfare check on an elderly woman in Ohio who was just too busy trying to beat her favorite video game to answer the phone, and a heart-warming story about an 11 year-old boy who was surprised by his classmates & teachers at his adoption hearing. Some science stuff this morning, including a device that can apparently produce clean drinking water out of thin air, and a company that's using urine from music festivals to produce an odor-free fertilizer! Elsewhere in sports, the price-gouging for the upcoming World Cup is getting out of control, Tiger Woods' attorneys are fighting an attempt to subpoena his prescription records, and a woman sitting courtside takes a basketball to the dome . Talked racing with Doc just after 8am thanks to County Materials in Holmen & Eau Claire …and has the whole " pickle craze " finally gone too far ? In today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a biker who kept track of how many times he's evaded the cops (until now), a scary stat about how often A.I. chatbots are misdiagnosing medical cases, a dude in China who had a metal chopstick stuck in his throat for EIGHT years, a new procedure to get an hour-glass figure, and another mysterious death/disappearance involving a person associated with NASA & alien technology.
