The future of gaming

So sitting here in the studio today looking at the new 30 series of cards from Nvidia. Also looking at the new consoles coming to market in a few months (fingers crossed). Which do I get and what's the better way to go? I love gaming in general and have been with it for 31 plus years I have watched it evolve from 8 bit Nintendo to what it is today with VR and everything. Nothing screams at me as being a system seller or hey you must by this over the others so for now I'm just sticking with my PC build. Will I have the new consoles down the line I sure will but for launch I think I will sit this rat race out. AND NO PRE ORDERS FOR THE NEW CARDS!!!!!!
