Leslie O'Bryant created her business, Classy Broads Coffee Co., to help spread a message through coffee. Traditionally the coffee business has been male-dominated and Leslie found that women involved in harvesting in coffee producing regions did not have equal rights or pay. She has made it a mission to make a difference and so Classy Broads Coffee became a women-based business from the coffee farms all the way up to Leslie. On today's episode Leslie talks about how the business got started and where the name came from. We discuss her mission to help empower women who work in the harvesting of coffee. Leslie also shares some advice on things to consider when owning a brick and mortar business.
