In December 1979, 22 year old Teresa De Simone was found strangled in the back seat of her car in Southampton, England. At the same time as the Yorkshire Ripper, people in the South wondered if they had their own monster in their midst. While police eventually got their guy, their actions would be subject to intense scrutiny while the world learned what was seemingly an open and shut case, was actually an almost unbelievable story.
