Episode 16 - Why Praying FOR What You Want Doesn't Work

People, they be prayin'. People pray for all sorts of things. A better home. A better lover. Better relationships. Better finances. More stuff! People be praying for!!! But man, that sets us up for failure every single time. Cause It's not praying FOR that has a winning, it's praying FROM that has us winning. Prayer is not about changing our circumstances, it's about changing ourselves; about being willing to grow into our circumstances; grow into our higher self so we can see it from God's eyes, see it from our highest self. You see, as human beings it's just innate. We've got this small, limited perception. So we pray for things from our small, limited perception. But you see, the Universe is unlimited. The Universe is infinite. So why limit the limitless Universe with our small askings? Why say "I want this person to be in my life" when the Universe might have bigger plans for you? Your life is your prayer. How you live is what you'll attract. So don't pray for what you think you need to be happy. Pray from happiness. Don't pray from what you think to feel love. Pray from love. If you want forgiveness, come from forgiveness. If you want redemption, come from redemption. If you want hope, come from hope. If you want joy, come from joy. You are always exuding and living your prayer whether you know it or not. So it's either affirmative: Love, happiness, joy, forgiveness, compassion. Neutral: "Eh, don't really care about anything." Or Negative: "I want this. This isn't working. This isn't good enough." Blah blah blah blah . That is your prayer! So whatever you are living whatever you are expressing is what you're asking the Universe for more of. It's doesn't happen to you….it happens through you. But God needs your participation. So Get Up! Get In! Enjoy Life! Run in the snow. Do it from a place of joy and happiness. Exude that love and all that gushy good stuff because that's what you want. That's what we all want. I know it. You don't have to tell me, I know it. Oh, and while you are here, that button right here or that button I think….
