Episode 12 - I'MPOSSIBLE - Your Crazy Just Might Work

A 400 ton piece of metal flying through the sky You smiling and waving at grandma while she's 3000 miles away, in real time. Then, you hop in your car, it's air conditioned, you pop on 1 of 10,000 songs on your iPod, get a call from Mom, which you take hands-free on your bluetooth while you head to a movie that's about to project millions of light and sound waves straight to your brain. Smart Phones, the internet, Email, living until you're 127 years old, the 4 minute mile, telephones, television, on demand everything…you watching me right now; at one point, we could've never imagined this. At one point, it was said TO BE IMPOSSIBLE, IT CAN NEVER BE DONE. But someone did it. Someone said YES IT CAN and YES I WILL. They resisted the doubt, they resisted the NO'S and NEVER'S and they persisted with YES and WHY NOT? Without those people of persistence…where would we be in the world? What would the world look like? But there is a good thing that happened: see, within each of us, we know better. Underneath that layer of doubt is the foundation of knowing. What is possible is what WE SAY is possible. We've gotta keep on growing, we've gotta keep on innovating. We've got to keep on pushing the limits and saying WHAT'S NEXT? Edison famously said: I haven't failed 10,000 times. I have succeeded in finding 10,000 ways that don't work. And when I've gotten rid of all of the ways that don't work, I will find the one that does. PERSISTENCE. From the Impossible to the POSSIBLE You see, your crazy just might work. Because 30 years ago we could've never imagined carrying razor thin computers in our pockets. 20 years ago I was shocked when I was able to numerically "page" someone on their beeper, and send the word LOVE. You guys remember that? I do! And now we instantly send texts, pictures, videos, documents by the tap of our thumbs or the command of our voice. So what idea is inside of you that's so radical, so absurd, so out of this world crazy that JUST MIGHT WORK? What kind of love are you capable of experiencing, what kind of connection to humanity, to your source, to your greatness, to your own superpowers might you be missing because you don't even know where to look for it? What if... we became people of persistence? What if we insisted on persisting until the impossible became possible? Insisting on persisting until the impossible became possible, instead of resisting with the NO's and NEVER's and PERSISTED with YES and WHY NOT? You see, IT'S all here. it's always been here. When IT was CREATED, IT WAS ALL CREATED—but we can't see what's possible yet, because our current level of consciousness can't even fathom it. So…open up your imagination. Dream bigger dreams. Go out there and just GET IT! Say YES. Say WHY NOT? Don't hear the NO'S. Fail 10,000 times until you find the 10,001 way that works. Your crazy just might work. Your crazy just might change the world.
